We purchased land which used to be "Christmas Bush Nursery". Here are some pictures of our progress from start to finish.

Our Logo —

Meaning as written by Jerry Burgmann

The Our Place Preschool Logo is a visual representation of the learning journey each and every one of our children travel here at "Our Place".We understand that "it takes a community to raise a child".The logo is designed by Jerry Burgmann who is a descendant from the local Aboriginal people; The Worimi.The logo uses the traditional symbol for a meeting place created by the two circles, one inside another. This represents our centre, 'A place that provides a safe and respectful learning environment for all our children'.Around the meeting place are eight people sitting. These people represent the Parents, Grandparents, Educators, Carers, Professionals, and Community members. These people all work together to ensure that our children are provided with the best possible opportunity for growth and development.The colours of the logo are taken from the surrounding environment, because this too has an influence on growth and development of our children. The blue represents the vast abundance of water that we get to experience here on the Tomaree Peninsular. From the beaches to the bays, the rivers and the wetlands. The green represents our natural environment. We are so blessed to have Tomaree National Park and Worimi Conservation lands intact. Everywhere you look through our beautiful landscape these are the two colours that stand out the most.

Fees

Enrolment Fee: Each child will have an enrolment fee which is $70. Siblings will be $50 each. For this fee the children will receive a preschool hat and a Our Place shirt to wear.Daily Fee: Is $135/ day and will be reviewed each financial year. We do try and keep costs as low as possible for families. Families are able to receive fee reductions through Child Care Subsidy and Start Strong Fee Relief if eligible. .Late Fee: Is $15/10 minutes beyond 5.30pm closing time.There are no additional charges for excursions or incursions.In the event that your child is unwell or on holidays you will need to pay for the normal booked care.
